If you've played any Ticket to Ride iteration, you'll know basically what to expect here: you claim railroad tracks spanning the various cities of Europe in an effort to score more points than your competitors. The key difference here is the "deluxe" in the title. Everything about the base game has been made either bigger or better (or both).
The game board is enormous, so big it takes up up the vast majority of my kitchen table. The cards are more colorful, as are the train cars. It comes with every expansion they ever released for Ticket to Ride: Europe packed right into the box. It's just a bigger and better overall experience. I should know, because I reviewed it.
